What is Hypnotherapy?
Have you ever daydreamed or lain in bed drifting off to sleep - yet still been aware of your surroundings ?
Have you been in a car and found yourself driving to a usual destination rather than where you intended to go ?
Then you have experienced hypnotic trance.
We breath, our heart beats, we blink and digest food because of our unconscious - we know it happens but most of the time we are unaware.
During our lifetime our body will always be working to ensure our survival, however, on occasion that will to survive may be detrimental to our wellbeing - this can manifest as panic attacks, smoking, weight gain etc....
This is why, even though we may be conscious of all the logical reasons why we should stop or change - we find it so hard to do.
Hypnosis works directly with the unconscious making change not only possible but incredibly easy.
What happens during a session?
I aim for success in ONE session - this session will last for up to 2 hours and will include a consultation to discuss your reasons for coming, your expectations and setting goals, an hypnosis experience (for those new to it) after which we can discuss how you felt and how deeply you relaxed and finally a hypnotic treatment to resolve what you came with.
In this hypnotic state there is a hyper-awareness and receptivity where the mind is open to suggestions to help bring about the changes you desire.
